Ingredients:

3 pounds meat
3 cups of Cajun Trio (onions, bell peppers and celery)
2 cups long grain rice
4 cups water
1/4 to 1/2 cup Borel's Cajun Zing Original Seasoning
Borel's Cajun Zing No Salt for additional spices

Directions:

In a large pot, brown meat. 
Once meat is brown add Cajun Trio and Borel's Cajun Zing Original Seasoning. 
Continue browning in pot until the onions are golden brown in color.
Add water and simmer until the meat is tender.

Taste for seasoning.  If more salt is needed add Borel's Cajun Zing Original Seasoning. 
If more spices are desired, add Borel's Cajun Zing NO Salt Seasoning for great taste without adding salt.

Once meat is tender, cook until most of the water is gone and you are left with a gravy.

Now add 4 cups water and rice to the mix.

Stir until water comes to a boil.
Once water comes to a boil, lower heat and cover, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

Once rice is tender turn off and leave covered for 5 minutes.

Serves: 8
